England footballer Michelle Agyemang, darts player Luke Littler and cricketer Davina Perrin have been named as finalists for the this year's Young Sports Personality of the Year award.

These three athletes have been celebrated for their exceptional achievements over the past 12 months.

Agyemang played a key role in helping the Lionesses win Euro 2025, Littler secured the world title for the first time, and Perrin burst onto the scene with a historic innings.

Littler claimed this honour in 2024 after his breakthrough year.

The three contenders were revealed during a live broadcast on a popular morning radio program.

The champion will be unveiled on the prestigious sports ceremony show on the 18th of December.

The ceremony will be broadcast from 19:00 GMT.

Age: 19 Sport: Football

Just three months after her senior team debut, Agyemang played a crucial and game-changing role in England's run to winning the Euros.

She came off the bench to score vital last-gasp goals in both the knockout stage games.

Agyemang's stunning interventions led to her being named the tournament's top young talent.

Afterwards, she was awarded the prestigious Golden Girl honour for the top young European talent.

She was also shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy for the world's best under-21 female player.

Agyemang, who has been playing for Brighton on loan from Arsenal, ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in October.

"Being nominated for this award is an honour," said Agyemang. "Thank you to God and I'm grateful for the support I've received from my inner circle and supporters."

Littler's Profile

Age: 18 Sport: Darts

Littler kicked off the year in incredible form as - aged 17 - he became the youngest darts world champion in history.

He secured a dominant victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final.

His later win at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth player to complete the prestigious PDC Triple Crown.

His success continued - his win in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he climbed to world number one for the very first time.

At 18, he is the most youthful player to do so, smashing the previous record.

"To receive a nomination for this award again is a massive accolade," stated Littler. "My victory in 2024 was a highlight for me and I've had another amazing 12 months. I want to continue elevating darts."

Davina Perrin

Age: 19 Sport: Cricket

Perrin is one of English cricket's most exciting young talents and burst into the spotlight with an remarkable and historic innings in August.

Her sublime 42-ball century in The Hundred is the fastest by an English woman in T20s.

It also stands as the equal third-quickest women's T20 century in a premier tournament.

Perrin ended up as runner-up in the season's run tally and was named the young player of the year by the PCA.

"I'm deeply humbled to be named a finalist for the Young Sports Personality of the Year award," expressed Perrin. "This is phenomenal. I hope it motivates more young women to get into cricket."
