The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in an LA Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.
His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The influential video game developer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
