Actor Denies Anti-Vaxxer Stance Following Voicing Controversial Covid Documentary

The "Taken" star has provided his voice to a new documentary that challenges the efficacy of vaccinations and lauds former cabinet secretary the political figure.

The Feature's Provocative Origins

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the project is based on a popular book written by Judy Mikovits, who gained notoriety during the global outbreak for claims that the illness was linked to a faulty batch of the influenza shot.

The publication's collaborator, a producer, has also written books with controversial radio host Alex Jones. Heckenlively wrote online praising Neeson's participation in the film.

An Unequivocal Statement

The team of Liam Neeson have issued a response pushing back against suggestions that he subscribes to anti-immunization beliefs.

"Many recognize that misconduct might be present within the drug industry, but that must not be conflated with opposition to vaccines," the comment reads. "He has never been, and remains not, anti-vaccination. His extensive work with Unicef highlights his consistent support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response added that the star had no hand in the film's messaging and that questions about its content ought to go to the filmmakers.

Central Claims Within the Feature

As presented, the narration spoken by Neeson features several strong statements:

  • It states that pro-immunization voices have insisted on "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It declares that "science has become deeply politicised."
  • RFK Jr is featured saying, "The big problem with vaccines is that they simply are not adequately tested."
  • The film further attacks pandemic restrictions, arguing they caused mental anguish that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Regarding the immunizations, it mentions a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Historical Controversy and Current Disputes

The film also references a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was later the subject of a correction by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

Last month, RFK Jr called on the Centers for Disease Control to revise its official position that there is no link between immunizations and autism. This claim is repeated in the documentary, contrary to a new report from the World Health Organisation confirming no evidence has been found.

A Previous Position of Support

Standing in contrast to the film's message, Neeson has previously shown strong support for vaccines in his capacity as a Unicef global ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "an extraordinary achievement," adding that "The debate about vaccines in recent years has overlooked how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in human history."

The documentary ends with Neeson's narration stating, "This isn't the finish of our narrative. Rather, it is the beginning of a different phase."
